Southern Illinois University School of Medicine/Department of Internal Medicine is seeking a Chief of Infectious Diseases to serve as Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Infectious Diseases. This is an excellent opportunity to join an already well established and reputable program made up of 4 stellar Infectious Diseases physicians.  The division has an Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program and is actively running clinical and basic science research with clinical researchers and active research labs. Clinical service includes inpatient consultative service and an outpatient Infectious Diseases Clinic.

Qualifications: 
Must have an MD or DO degree and be board eligible/board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease. Minimum 4-5 years of leadership experience in an academic setting.   Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice medicine in the state of Illinois.
